We are working in collaboration with BlossomPro to offer our families support at home with issues that arise in every family from time to time, that we sometimes all need a little help with. BlossomPro also offers great ideas for activities together at home and explanations about some of the things we as schools do to teach and support your children. We hope that you start to use these resources as often as is needed and keep returning to this page for ideas and help at home.

Anti-bullying Week
This week is national anti-bullying week. On Monday we had a special assembly where we all found out about our 'Power of Good'. We talked about how we could use our superpower to show kindness to each other in the way we speak and in the way we physically use our bodies. The children had some really good ideas about how to show kindness, from listening to someone when they talking to helping a friend who is hurt or sad.
Below is a link to Andy from CBeebies with his band, 'Andy and the Odd Socks' singing this years song about the 'Power of Good'. We shared this in assembly and all the children really enjoyed it. You might like to share it at home as well.

Below are three articles from BlossomPro that might help you at home in supporting your child/children to navigate friendships. Getting along and falling out is all part of growing up but something that you as parents can support with at home.

Helping Your Child
Forming relationships is a lifelong skill that starts at a young age. It takes many years to learn the art of navigating through these friendships and associations. As parents and carers we can give our children ongoing, balanced support with this as they grow and develop. Read BlossonPro's 'Helping with relationships' for some guidance.
